Layered Living
I've spent eighteen years designing homes for people who know exactly who they are — and want their space to prove it. Layered interiors, bold color, vintage finds with history, soulful art, and details that make guests stop mid-sentence and ask where you got that.
My approach is personal before it's anything else. I get to know you first. The design follows.
Featured in Luxe Interiors + Design, The Wall Street Journal, Cottages & Gardens, Midwest Home, and Country Home.
A home should feel as alive as the people in it — layered with character, full of soul, and made to be lived in fully.
The Details Matter
The difference between a beautiful room and an unforgettable one is almost always in the details. A one-of-a-kind vintage find. A piece of art that stops you cold. A color choice that shouldn't work but absolutely does. After eighteen years I've built a network of makers, vendors, and sources that most designers don't have access to — and I use every single one of them to make your home feel collected, considered, and completely irreplaceable.

From the Studio
“Lauren was a delight to work with from the beginning of the project to the end. I especially appreciated how well she listened to my input and concerns. More often than not, her initial ideas turned out to be the best ones!” Nonoko, Lake Harriet
