My Story
For nearly two decades, I’ve designed homes that are layered, eclectic, and full of character—spaces where vintage treasures, bold color, and soulful art come together to tell a story. My path has taken me from San Francisco to Saint Paul, shaping interiors that are as personal as they are beautiful.
I grew up in Houston with an early love for creativity—whether it was painting, sketching floor plans, or building elaborate forts. That spark led me to San Francisco, where I studied Interior Design & Architecture at the Academy of Art University. After school, I worked for both a design firm and a lighting company before joining HSH Interiors. During my seven years there, I designed an incredible range of projects—from converted churches and historic San Francisco residences to a four-year Mill Valley dream home. That project was especially rewarding: layered with art, vintage finds, and custom details like a turquoise jewelry-grade backsplash, bespoke bedding, and a hand-colored rug created with the client. Every choice reflected the personalities of a couple in the music industry who adored their dogs, and completing the home at the end of my pregnancy made the finish even more meaningful.
In 2019, I relocated to Saint Paul, Minnesota and became a senior designer at Heather Peterson Design. During my time there, I oversaw projects from start to finish in Piedmont and Tahoe, California; Greenwich, Connecticut; Chicago; and the Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis. I especially loved the Piedmont project, where I redesigned the kitchen, added a new bathroom for the family’s young daughter, and reimagined the primary bath with a completely fresh layout. The Chicago residence was equally memorable—a collaboration with a sculptor and his wife who wanted their home to feel like a modern gallery for their incredible art collection. We designed a curved fireplace clad in Heath tile as a bold focal point, blending function with artistry in a way that reflected both their style and their collection.
My work today is defined by layered, eclectic interiors full of character—where vintage finds live alongside bold colors, soulful art, and bespoke details. I’m deeply inspired by art, nature, and storytelling, which means I approach design as more than aesthetics: it’s about people, how they live, and how a home can feel both beautiful and personal.
Outside of design, I love spending time outdoors, hiking, gardening, and cooking. Music is another passion of mine, and I’ve been fortunate to volunteer with the Irvine Park Music Series here in Saint Paul for the past two years. I also find inspiration in fashion, wandering estate sales and vintage shops in search of pieces with history and character, and exploring art museums and galleries. Whether I’m at a concert, discovering a new exhibit, styling a favorite outfit, or uncovering a forgotten treasure, these creative pursuits continually fuel my design work and remind me that home is just one expression of a curious, artful, and connected life.
